Article Submission Guidelines
Article Submission Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in publishing on Piventa. These guidelines explain exactly what we look for in every submission. Following them carefully will give your article the best chance of being approved quickly.
Piventa is a free publishing platform. There is no fee to submit or publish. In return, we ask every author to meet the quality and integrity standards below. Every article is reviewed by our editorial team before publication.
1. Originality Is Mandatory
- Your article must be 100% original, written by you, and not previously published anywhere else — including your own blog, another publishing site, or social publishing platforms.
- Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited. This includes copying passages from other websites, books, or articles, and submitting content written by someone else as your own.
- "Spun" content — articles created by rewording existing content with software or manual paraphrasing — is not accepted.
- Do not submit the same article, or a slightly changed version of it, more than once.
- We may check submissions using plagiarism-detection tools. Plagiarised submissions will be rejected, and repeat offences may lead to account removal.
2. Length and Depth
- We recommend a minimum of 800 words for most articles. Longer, in-depth articles of 1,200 words or more are welcome when the topic requires it.
- Length alone does not equal quality. Every section should add real value. Do not pad an article with filler, repetition, or generic statements to reach a word count.
- Cover your topic thoroughly: answer the reader's main question, address related sub-questions, and include practical detail.
3. People-First, Helpful Content
Piventa follows Google's guidance on helpful, people-first content. Write for readers, not for search engines or algorithms.
Your article should:
- Be written primarily to help, inform, or genuinely interest a human reader
- Answer a clear question or solve a clear problem
- Leave the reader feeling they learned something useful and complete — not that they need to search again for a better answer
- Avoid keyword stuffing, unnatural repetition, and writing designed to manipulate rankings
Ask yourself before submitting: "Would I find this article genuinely helpful if I found it as a reader?" If the honest answer is no, revise it first.
4. E-E-A-T: Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness
We look for content that demonstrates E-E-A-T:
Experience
Write from first-hand experience wherever possible. Have you actually done, used, visited, built, or practised what you are writing about? Real examples, lessons learned, and honest observations make content trustworthy.
Expertise
Write only on topics you genuinely understand. If you are explaining a technical, medical, legal, or financial topic, make sure your knowledge is accurate and current, and say clearly where general information ends and professional advice begins.
Authoritativeness
Support important claims with facts, reasoning, and, where appropriate, references to reputable sources. Complete your author profile and bio so readers can see who you are and why you are qualified to write on your topic.
Trustworthiness
Be honest and transparent. Do not exaggerate results, invent statistics, create fake reviews, or make claims you cannot support. If you have a relationship with a product, company, or service mentioned in your article, disclose it.
For health, finance, legal, and other topics that can significantly affect a reader's life or money, we apply extra scrutiny. Such content must be accurate, balanced, and clearly presented as general educational information — not personal professional advice.
5. Accuracy and Fact-Checking
- Verify facts, names, dates, figures, and quotations before submitting.
- Do not present rumours, speculation, or social media claims as established fact.
- If you cite statistics or studies, name the source so readers can check it.
- If you discover an error in your published article, contact us promptly so we can correct it. See our Editorial Policy for how corrections work.
6. Formatting and Readability
Well-formatted articles are easier to read and more likely to be approved.
- Use a clear, descriptive title that accurately reflects the content — no clickbait or misleading headlines.
- Organise your article with descriptive headings and subheadings.
- Write in short paragraphs, generally two to four sentences each.
- Use bullet points or numbered lists where they genuinely help clarity.
- Write in plain, clear English. Avoid excessive jargon; explain technical terms when you use them.
- Proofread carefully for spelling, grammar, and punctuation before submitting.
- Do not use excessive capitalisation, emojis, or promotional formatting in the article body.
7. Images and Media
- You may include images that genuinely support your article.
- Use only images you created yourself, or that you have a clear licence or permission to use (for example, properly licensed stock photos or Creative Commons images used according to their licence terms).
- Do not upload copyrighted images copied from Google Images, news sites, or other blogs.
- Images must be relevant, clear, and appropriate for a general audience.
- Add a helpful description or caption where it aids understanding.
- We may remove or replace images that do not meet these standards.
8. Link Policy
Links can help readers when they are relevant and natural. They are also the most commonly abused part of submitted articles, so we apply this policy strictly.
- Links must be genuinely relevant to the article and useful to the reader at the exact point where they appear.
- A small number of relevant links is fine. As a general guide, one or two external links in a typical article is enough. Excessive linking will cause rejection.
- Links must point to credible, safe, relevant pages. We do not link to low-quality, spammy, or unrelated sites.
- Links must not be inserted in a promotional, sales-driven, or unnatural way. Articles written mainly as a vehicle for a link will be rejected.
- Piventa does not sell links, and we do not accept paid-link schemes of any kind. Publishing here is free. Do not offer payment for links or placement, and do not submit content that is part of a link-selling, link-exchange, or link-farm scheme.
- Affiliate links, if used at all, must be genuinely relevant, sparing, and clearly appropriate to the content. We reserve the right to remove them without notice.
- We do not accept links related to gambling or casinos, adult content, illegal products or services, essay-selling or academic cheating services, counterfeit goods, or any category prohibited in Section 10.
- All links are published at editorial discretion. Our editors may remove, edit, or decline any link, and may add editorial or attribution markup, without prior notice.
When in doubt, write the article so it is fully valuable even with no links at all. That is the standard we apply.
9. AI-Assisted Content
We recognise that many writers use AI tools for brainstorming, outlining, or drafting help. Our standard is about the final quality and accountability, not the tool you used.
- You are fully responsible for everything published under your name, however it was drafted.
- AI-assisted content must still be original, accurate, fact-checked by you, and genuinely helpful. Unedited, generic, or mass-produced AI output will be rejected.
- Never submit AI-generated content containing invented facts, fake references, or fabricated experience. Claiming first-hand experience you do not have is a serious breach of trust.
- For sensitive topics (health, finance, legal), we strongly expect qualified human expertise behind the content.
- We may ask about, or require disclosure of, significant AI involvement where it is relevant to readers.
10. Prohibited Content and Topics
We do not publish content that:
- Promotes gambling, casinos, betting, or related services
- Is adult, pornographic, or sexually explicit
- Promotes illegal drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, or other illegal activity
- Is hateful, discriminatory, harassing, or incites violence
- Contains misinformation presented as fact, especially on health, elections, or safety
- Promotes academic dishonesty, such as essay-writing or exam-cheating services
- Is primarily an advertisement, press release, sales page, or product promotion disguised as an article
- Infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights
- Contains malware, phishing, scams, or deceptive financial schemes
11. Author Bio and Profile
- Every author may include a short bio (around 50–100 words) telling readers who you are, what you do, and what you write about.
- A profile link to your own website or a social profile may be included in your author bio where the platform allows it, provided it is relevant and complies with our Link Policy.
- Your bio must be truthful. Do not claim qualifications, job titles, or credentials you do not hold.
12. Review, Editing, and Rejection Rights
- Every submission is reviewed before publication. Review typically takes a few business days, depending on volume.
- We may edit submissions for clarity, grammar, formatting, accuracy, headings, and compliance with these guidelines. Substantive changes are kept to what is needed to meet our standards.
- We reserve the right to reject any submission, at our sole discretion, without obligation to provide a detailed explanation — though where practical, we will indicate the main reason so you can improve and resubmit.
- We reserve the right to remove any published article at any time if it is later found to breach these guidelines or our Terms of Service.
- Submitting an article does not guarantee publication.
13. One Account, Honest Identity
- Maintain one account and provide accurate registration information.
- Do not impersonate another person, brand, or organisation.
- You are responsible for all content submitted through your account.
